Q: What is the process of getting a wedding contract with Acmefotos?
A:
- contact acmefotos to schedule an appointment for a in-person consultation. This can be done by phone or email for out-of-town clients.
- select a package or negotiate a custom package.
- sign a contract with a deposit to reserve the wedding date.
Q: What else does each pack include?
A: Free wedding consultation, photo sample list and pre-wedding site visit.
Q: What do I get on a CD or DVD?
A: You will get all photos shot from the wedding day in a slide show format, by default, on a CD or DVD, or you can request photos for on-line viewing instead (package B and higher include online viewing). The maximum image size on CD will be 600 pixels at 72 dpi with low compression (high quality).
Note: the client can request for individual photos on a CD, however, the resolution will be 500 pixcels.
Q: Will I be able to print photos from the CD/DVD myself?
(applies to INDIVIDUAL images on a CD. You may not be able to extract images from the slidewhow.)
A: Standard display resolution is 72dpi (dots per inch), while high-quality printing resolution is about 300dpi. Prints made for display images may show pixelation.
Q: Who owns the copyright of the photos?
A: While Acmefotos releases to the client the rights to modify, to email to friends, or even to publish, Acmefotos reserves the copyright for the original photos (digital negatives). However, the digital negatives along with the unlimited useage can be transferred to the client with an additional cost (please refer to ORDERPRINTS for details).
Q: How long will it take for the client to receive the CD or to be able to view the photos on-line?
A: It normally takes up to two weeks.
